Cadet sailing fosters team spirit and conveys fun and motivation for sportive engagement. Young sailors learn to take on responsibility and develop ambition. Furthermore they get to know the importance of fairplay and have to handle with defeats. Trainer and assistants support these young athletes on a voluntary basis and therewith contribute significantly to their sportive development.

The World Championship of 2011 is going to become a unique event for all participants involved. In ten days of racing they will compete with each other in order to find the World Champion among them.

In order to guarantee the success of this exceptional event we need your assistance. Without the support of sponsors and backers, an event of that size is not realizable. We are looking forward for any kind of sponsorship. Your support enables us to eternize these ten days of competition for the young sailors from all over the world.  Hence, herewith we invite you to make the World Championship of 2011 an unforgettable event for everyone.

Since we are going to make available a huge variety of different advertising media, sponsors and financiers can realise a perfect presentation of their company and hence reach a high amount of potential customers. The huge amount of different options guarantees the ideal mixture of presentation and financial integration for each sponsor.  Below we provide a selection of possible presentations, but of course we have an open mind for further proposals.

Offshore

  • The first 20% of the hull of each boat can be used to carry your advertisement visible. Between the races the boats will be arranged on the forecourt of the harbour which is one of the central points of Kühlungsborn.
  • Referee boats and all other supporting boats are prepared to fly flags of your company on their masts.
  • For sponsors and theire guests we offer the possibility to observe the competitions offshore by allocating Volvo Ocean-Racers or Offshore Trimarans  to go with.

Onshore

  • The forecourt of the harbour can be completely seen from any point of the promenade. While the competitions, this area is empty and can also be used to present outsized logos.
  • Advertisement can be printed on beach flags that will line the promenade and are positioned all over the harbour.
  • Edging the “Parc Fermé” will be done by using advertisement on huge boundaries.
  • The Cadet City is going to be meeting point for competitors, guests and tourists. Here sponsors can present their company with information desks etc.

Others

  • All races are going to be live moderated on the pier of Kühlungsborn. Sponsors will be mentioned and presented.
  • Like all huge events the World Championships are going to be named after the main sponsor, whose corporate symbol will be integrated within the logo of the World Championships.
  • Company symbols will appear in every kind of print and advertising medium.
  • Daily races and price givings can bear the name of several sponsors.
  • Press articles are going to be published continuously, in which we gladly mention our sponsors and financiers.
  • Corporate Symbols and Logos will be printed on various Give-Aways.
